In addition to category-wise reservation, 20 posts (including 10 backlog posts) are horizontally reserved for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) as per Government guidelines, and 38 posts are horizontally reserved for Ex-Servicemen (ESM) as per Government guidelines.

NALCO Non-Executive Recruitment 2026 - Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must fulfill all eligibility conditions as on the closing date of online application (10-06-2026). Qualifications must be from Universities or Institutes recognized/accredited by UGC/AICTE/NCVT/NCVET/SCTE&VT set up by Central/State Government. Only full-time qualifications will be considered. ITI/Diploma/B.Sc. in the specific branch/subjects as mentioned against respective posts will be considered as eligible qualifications; ITI/Diploma/B.Sc. in other branches will not be considered. No claim of possession of equivalent qualifications will be entertained.

Operator (HEMM) Gr. III
- 10th Pass with ITI (NCVT/NCVET) of 2 years duration in Mechanic Motor Vehicle (MMV) trade OR 1 year duration in Diesel Mechanic Trade
- Apprenticeship Certificate in MMV or Diesel Mechanic Trade required
- Valid Heavy Vehicle Driving Licence mandatory
- First Aid Training Certificate desirable
Mining Mate Gr. III
- 10th Pass
- Valid Mining Mate Certificate of Competency (Restricted to Opencast Metalliferous Mines) issued by DGMS

NALCO Non-Executive Recruitment 2026 - Age Limit
Age is calculated as on the last date of online application submission (10-06-2026). Upper age limit is relaxable for various categories. The maximum upper age limit including all relaxations shall not exceed 56 years. The relaxation in age for SC/ST/OBC (NCL) is subject to availability of vacancy for the particular category.

NALCO Non-Executive Recruitment 2026 - Application Fee
Application fee is non-refundable under any circumstances. Fee can be paid through dedicated bank account, net banking, debit card, or UPI only. Fee shall not be collected by any other mode. Candidates are advised to verify their eligibility before paying the fee. SC, ST, PwBD, Ex-Servicemen, Land Ousted candidates, and internal candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.

NALCO Non-Executive Recruitment 2026 - Selection Process
The selection process consists of Computer Based Test (CBT) and/or Trade Test, followed by Document Verification and Pre-employment Medical Examination (PEME). For posts at Sl. No. 5, 7, 9, 11, and 12 of the vacancy table, selection will be based on CBT only. For posts at Sl. No. 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 10, and 13, selection will be made through both CBT and Trade Test, with a weightage of 60% for CBT and 40% for Trade Test. There is no negative marking for wrong answers. CBT will be conducted in English and Hindi only.
