Graduate degree in any discipline from any Institute/ College/ University recognized/ approved by Govt. bodies/ AICTE/ UGC. The result of the qualification must have been declared on or before 01.04.2026 and candidate must produce Mark Sheets and Provisional/ Degree Certificate issued from the University/ College/ Institute as and when required by the Bank. The date of passing Graduation should not be more than 4 years (viz. date of Graduation Marksheet should not be prior to 01.04.2022) preceding to the cut-off date i.e. 01.04.2026.

Candidates applying for the post of Apprentice are required to pay a non-refundable examination fee and intimation charges as specified below. The fee must be paid online through the BFSI SSC application portal. The application process is complete only when the examination fee is paid to BFSI SSC through online mode on or before the last date of application. Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.

UNION BANK OF INDIA (UBI) Recruitment 2026 SALARY

The engaged apprentices are eligible for the following stipend per month for the contract period of one year. No other allowances/benefits are applicable. The stipend will be paid on completion of each month after adjusting unauthorized absence, if any. Labour laws provisions such as PF, ESI, Bonus shall NOT be applicable to apprentices.

UNION BANK OF INDIA (UBI) Recruitment 2026 Selection Process

The selection process for Union Bank of India Apprentice Recruitment 2026 consists of 2 (two) stages - an Online Test of 100 marks (objective type, 60 minutes) and a Proficiency Test of Local Language. Candidates who qualify the online test with cut-off marks as decided by the Bank will be called for document verification and the local language proficiency test. Final selection will be subject to meeting cut-off marks, satisfactory document verification, proficiency of local language, and submission of a Medically Fit Certificate from a registered General Physician.

Stage 2 - Proficiency Test of Local Language

The candidate applying for vacancies of a particular state must be proficient in any one of the local languages of that state (reading, writing, speaking and understanding). Selected candidates will have to produce their 10th/12th standard marksheet/certificate evidencing having studied the opted local language. Candidates unable to produce such certificate will be required to give a test of local language.
